Vettes in the Park

The University Of Okoboji Corvette Club is excited to announce that the following 3 supercars will be featured at the 2026 “Vettes in the Park”event: 2017 Dodge Viper ACR, 2025 Ford Mustang GTD,and 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.

2026 Vettes in the Park will provide a special display area of
C1, C2, C3 and C4 Corvettes! These 4 generations will be featured
in their own row on hard pavement in front of the
Iowa Rock and Roll Museum! Music and an outdoor bar will be provided.
Special Announcement!
On Friday, July 24th, 2026, between 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, all members and guests attending “Vettes in the Park” are invited for a 1st time viewing of the Marble Lake Ranch, located at 12025 240th Ave Spirit Lake, Iowa 51360. It is beautiful setting along Marble Lake, just to the NW side of Big Spirit Lake and close to the Iowa / Minnesota border. The Ranch is owned by Robert and Marcia Zylstra.
For over 60 years, they have collected Corvettes, motorcycles and tractors.
They will have on display several of their special C2 and C3 Corvettes that only a few people have ever seen!
Prior to that, Sampson’s Corvettes in Sanborn, Iowa are inviting people to register at their site, from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Craig Sampson and family will have food and beverages there. You will see his inventory of Corvettes for sale.
At 3:00 PM, Friday, we will caravan from Sampson’s Corvettes to Marble Lake Ranch.
Those of you coming in from the north or east of the Iowa Great Lakes, can come in directly to Marble Beach Ranch to have beverages, a tour of the Ranch, and view the Zylstra Corvette Collection on display outdoors!
If you are interested in staying in a motel in the area, then from Marble Lake Ranch, you will be 10-15 minutes from the motels in the Iowa Great Lakes area. Surrounding communities with motels are: to the north 15-20 minutes is Jackson, MN: east 20-25 minutes is Estherville, Iowa and to the south, 30 minutes is Spencer, Iowa.
